biggest Hackathon in Nepal, which intends to build a technological solution for any of the selected 7 SDGs viz. SDG 3,4,5,9,11,13,
and 16 , by the students pursuing bachelors
in technology in Nepal.

About The Code Fest 2023

Codefest 2023, organized by Code for Change, is the second edition of the biggest Hackathon in Nepal, which intends to build a technological solution for any of the selected 7 SDGs viz. SDG 3,4,5,9,11,13, and 16 , by the students pursuing bachelors in technology in Nepal.

- Teams can register representing their college or form team of individuals.
- Each team can have 2 to 4 members in it
- Teams will be competing with the ones from their province in the provincial phase.
- The winners from each province (making it 7 at least) will compete against each other in the Grand Finale ,which will take place in the capital city of Nepal, Kathmandu.

Registration fee: Rs 2000 per team

It is a dynamic event in which students who are highly interested in IT can learn new concepts, discover new ideas and garner knowledge in the domain of technology which will help them boost their interest and confidence in technology and help them shape their future in this exciting field.

- To boost inspiration, innovation, creativity, and productivity among the tech students of Nepal.
- To develop technological solutions for the problems related to SDGs.
- To promote creativity, teamwork, and coding culture.
- To provide networking as well as exposure opportunity to the tech students from all around the nation.

Target Students

All the students pursuing Bachelor's in the technology domain, in Nepal.

Good Health and Well-being

Product may relate to mental or physical health, fitness, yoga, medical MS, healthy food,etc.

Quality Education

Product may relate to Online Learning Student MS, Online library, compare sites, Smart classroom, etc

Gender Equality

Product may relate to women empowerment platforms, gender related problem solving platforms.

Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure

Product may relate to startups like pathao, e-sewa, e-commerce site, Employee MS(attendence system), EmergencySystem, GPS systems.

Sustainable Cities and Communities

Product may relate to pollution meter ,traffic system, households MS, online transportaion, map management, tourism, waste management, community/culture, Fleet Management Systems
