General Member Orientation - February 4, 2024, 8:00 PM
We are thrilled to share highlights from our recent General Member Orientation, which took place on February 4, 2024, at 8:00 PM. The event was designed to provide our newly selected general members with a comprehensive overview of Code for Change's mission, values, the CFC Farwest executive team, and the CR team.
The distinguished guests who graced the occasion included the Project Lead of Code For Change, Krishan Pokherel, the current Board member of CFC and former lead of CFC Farwest, Mr. CM Bhatt, Project leads from different Provinces, former members of CFC Farwest, and the executive team of CFC Farwest for the tenure 23.24. Additionally, College Representatives of CFC Farwest for tenure 23.24 and our selected 58 members (some of whom were not present) were part of this enlightening program.
Hosted on the Google Meet platform, the online program was meticulously prepared by the team assigned for tasks such as work division, sending invitations, and slide preparation.
Our esteemed hosts for the orientation day were Babita Bhatt, Tech Lead of Farwest, CR Pushpa Saud, and CR Bipesh Khadka. The program commenced with a brief overview and agendas presented by Babita Bhatt, followed by a warm welcome speech by CR Roji Ojha. Subsequently, CR Pravesh Joshi provided a concise overview of Code For Change, its mission, vision, and values.
The Public Relations lead of CFC Farwest then explained the job description to the general members, and Admin Lead of CFC Farwest, Mukesh Pant, delved into the program's policies. CR Bhojraj Joshi was invited to share insights into color codes and their significance with the audience.
Adding an entertaining touch, Operation Lead Chandan Shahu conducted a fun quiz session that captivated the participants. Special guests, former general members Mr. Surya Joshi and Mr. Manmohan Aeir, shared their experiences in CFC. We were also honored by the presence of Code For Change's Project Lead, Mr. Krishna Pokhrel, and the current Board member, Mr. CM Bhatt, who both provided valuable insights.
In a segment led by executive member Mr. Birendra Kalauni, the process of website registration was explained to the members. The program continued with engaging sessions, open discussions, and finally, the Project Lead of CFC welcomed the general members and delivered closing remarks.
